yep, i think it was like you would draw something on ur skin with ur finger and said a little rhyme, but if u had one with pen then if they touched u u wouldnt get cooties, cuz ur cootie shot was permanent.

OMG lol I remeber that and I still remember the rhyme I think it's circle circle dot dot now I have my cutie shot. BUt I think there was more if you wanted it to last longer.

OMG! When he was in 1st grade, my brother had a "girlfriend". I was so amazed when he said that cuz when I was that age, like yall said, boys had cooties.
Anyways, back to the bracelets, my grandmother heard about them. I was wearing my Livestrong bracelet one day and she asked me if it was one of those plastic bracelets.

ok I know of these braclets. they are stupid. Ive also heard of the bottle cap braclets, and of the beaded braclets that show if someone has an eating disorder. Which is so dumb.

Does anybody have anything to say about the little braclets, the rubber ones, somebody told me that, depending on the color of the braclet, that it means something if broken. Has anybody else heard of this?

Yellow - Livestrong
Green - Lime Disease
Mint - Nike
Pink - Breast Cancer


They even had blue or red bracelets at the latest Republican and Democratic Conventions.......now, I doubt that would be a crowd of sex maniacs.....

um... i dont think thats exactly what we are talking about. the live strong braclets and cancer bracelets are farely new, and these rubber braclets are kind of old. they are thin and roundish not thick and rectanlish(if that makes sence) and as other people have mentioned there are clear, black and purple ones as well, and i havent seen any of the live strong kind of braclets in those colors. But i am also thinking that the younger children are just ding it as a fashion trend, because even when you are younger you still have to keep up with all the trends going on around you.

I know. Completely lame. It's really a pet peave of mine when I see all these wanna-be punks wearing those stupid bracelets. There's this one girl who is like completely decked out in the black rubber bracelets and has absolutely no clue as to what they stand for. She just thinks that if she wears them she'll be "punk". Please.
