Mine does. I can already feel myself gearing up for Autumn. Pies, apple crisp, warm casseroles, hearty breads, not to mention the holiday's approaching. By January 1st I am usually pretty shocked. :scared1: But then I get serious in the dark days of winter, and try to lose the weight. By April I am feeling better, and ready for the warmer weather.

This seems to be a pattern for me. What about you? Does your weight fluctuate with the seasons?

Oh is that what it is? :teeth:

Actually my weight only "fluctuated" once. It went UP. Still waiting for spring to arrive these past couple of years.

I do creep up in November and December with all the holiday baking and the the treats. Not too bad the rest of the year, though.

I have been better about it. I figure there is nothing that I haven't tasted. If I make an apple pie, I will eat too much of it. I bake for Thanksgiving....just enough for the day, that's it. I am tempted to make the Jewish apple cake that my mom used to make, but then, I will eat too much of it. My SIL brings desserts for Christmas, so no baking then. I shovel a path to the grill, don't do casseroles, I don't have a potato in the house. The weight still creeps up because I stop mowing the lawn by the middle of November. Its 3.5 miles around that 'sucker' two or three times a week.

Mine goes up in the summer when our schedules are too erratic to get to my regular classes at the gym, and when I wear loose dresses every day. Then the first day I try to get back in the jeans, I know I have to get back in the gym.

I usually have lost the 5-10 summer pounds by Thanksgiving.

Of course, this year may the exception to that as I am being lazy lazy lazy.

I my weight fluctuates during the seasons too! Fall-Winter are the worst for me weight wise:

October: Halloween
November: Thanksgiving
December: Christmas
January: 3 family members birthdays
February: my birthday, then Valentine's Day

The rest of the year I'm pretty good but whew, during that season I gain about 5-10lbs!! :scared:

Both DH and I seem to pack on some extra during the fall/winter months. The minute it starts to get cold, DH says we are putting on our winter "coat." You know, like we're getting ready for hibernation!:rotfl2: Feb/March is when I get back to business!

Right now, we are trying to head off the winter pounds--seems we had a bit too much fun this summer, too! :confused3
