OK--so South Carolina, I am finding out, has some really strange laws (for instance--until JUST this month--it has been illegal to get a tatoo) but this one has me baffled:
Today is an SC election day, and the law states that no one is allowed to buy lottery tickets on election day. No joke--it is a law here. I can not figure out what the lawmaker's logic was in enacting this--or why it was never repealed. Does anyone else's state do this????
I shouldn't be surprised coming from the state that required mini-bottles in bars.
Other than bazaar laws---it's a great place to live.
