We didn't register ours but her mother's name was, as you say "really wild." I don't recall the full name but it contained the phrase "she ****s all night." I wish I were kidding.

BTW, the first letter of that word is B.

Well at least it didn't start with "S" which is what I was thinking until I read further.

My dog is Elvis Bearon Presley named after well Elvis and Bear our first golden retriever who was Wild Bear Kodiak of Kokomo.

I SWEAR that my next show horse is going to be named "Buck Nekkid", so that when the announcer calls out the class "next on course is rider Jennasis, riding Buck Nekkid"!

I almost spit water out when I read this . I have heard this before LOL At a horse show when my DD was showing , it was a teeager on a really nice paint horse. We all died laughing !

Our golden's registered name is SheaMohnus Dugans....as in "shame on us Dugans" for getting ANOTHER golden (they aren't the brightest pup in the pack, but oh are they loveable!)... His call name is Seamus.

Our first Golden's Registered name was Erin's Sundance Kid....call name Butch (as in Cassidy and the....)!

Sho means little girl in Japanese (or so we were told) and dd wanted to name her after her favorite baseball player So Taguchi.

No! Two dogs cannot have the same name. If you send in your registration and a dog has that name the AKC will send it back and you have to pick another.

Thats why I try to pick unusual registered names.

DH and I are HUGE Pittsburgh Steelers fans and I love Hines Ward, so our lab's real name is Hines, Prince of Georgia, but he's Hines for short. I tell ya, if Hines Ward knew he had a dog named after him, I think it would freak him out!!!!
