hahaha, I don't know why I am even posting this, but my daughter was asking me about our cars. We recently got a new one, so I am always saying "The Chevy", or "The Ford" when referring to our cars.
But she asked me what my sister "named" her car, and it just so happens, my sister did name her car....Rhonda the Honda hahahaha (she is only 18, this is her 1st car, used, red, cute).
So did you name your car?

Bella, because she is beautiful.
My other cars were named: Sylvia, Big Bertha, Antonia.

Not exactly but we have known to do that in the past. I have a minivan -- DH calls it "the pod".

Other than that -- it's more or less "Mom's car" or "Dad's car" is what they are called.

Mine is my "green machine". It just turned 10 this year!

My 1999 Mustang is the first car I've ever owned and "his" name is Buddy. I'm not sure why I chose that name but I guess it's because "he's" been with me through the 2 most important years in high school (Jr and Sr), at a new school I might add, and has started through college with me. That includes moving 1900 miles across the country from Virginia. My parents own "The White Charger (as in knight in shining armor and his trusty steed)" (2001 Ford F 150), the "Champagne" car (2004 Ford Taurus), and the now dead "Station Wagon" or "Bus" (1996 Ford Taurus Station Wagon).

My kids named my black honda 'Duke' & I call my convertible 'Christine'.

Growning up my Dad always called ALL his cars "old nelly".

Mine is Tori the Torrent, and when I was little my mom had a white Chrysler 5th Avenue and we called it the marshmallow.

We have had a thread like this before and I laughed at alot of the names.

I used to have a Red Chevy ex- cab pick up I called her "Big Red"

Then my Dh bought me what he called the heap It was a Red P.T. Cruiser ( ok stop laughing I was not the only one on the waiting list to buy one LOL) I called it "Little Red"

Then we got a black Mercedes and I named it " Guido " yes I know the car was German but I am Italian and he looked kinda tough LOL

My Dh traded him in about 2 years ago ( I am still kinda sad and miss Guido ) and bought the Red Mercedes 300 and he looks like a Vinnie so his name is Vincenzo , Vinnie for short !

So yes I name them and I even chose thier gender LOL

My husband's truck is "Precious" (said like Smeagol in LOTR). My car is "semi-Precious" said in a normal tone of voice. ;)

Surprisingly, I've only owned 2 cars in my life. The first was a blue & white Chevy Blazer, that was named "Bluestreak." The car I currently drive is a Ford Pickup that is all Grey, his name is, of course, "Greystreak." Don't know what I'll do if I ever get a car that is the same primary color as an earlier vehicle, I guess they'll just become "?-streak 2"

My current car is Kevin, named after a perp on Cops. It was a weird episode.

DD19's car is Loki, but was almost named Nymphadora.

DS22's car is Alex's car. He thinks his sister and I are nuts for naming our cars.

My last car, a Saturn Vue, was born/came off the assembly line on what would have been my best friend since birth's 40th birthday. (She died at 32.) That car was named after her. Yes, you can find out what day your Saturn was born. You just need to ask the service advisor. When she told me that day, it was like a poke from beyond from my friend, saying, "Hey...you're still thinking about me, aren't you?"

Well we call the minivan the party van but the Neon doesn't have a name. DD10 named the new Kia tho, she calls her Suzy. LOL

The only car I ever owned that had a name was my first one. My whole family referred to it (and still does) as Cammie, she was Camaro-hence the name.

My current car is Gennie (Short for Genevieve, not Jennifer), and my previous one was known as Emily, or more formally "Miss Emily the War Wagon".

DH's cars have not all been named, but those that were have been "Bitty" (short for "The Bitty Blue Bullet" - it was a really tiny car), Jeeves (a formal-ish black one), and Atlas.

At one point in college, my family's cars were all named after queens of England. Dad had Lizzie (Elizabeth), I had Vicki (Victoria) and Mom had Anne.
