Run?

Milo, our Corgi, is running around the house for no reason. He's running full steam around and around the house. I don't know why. He does this sometimes and I never understand why. Poor Maggie, our Yorkie, is hiding out under the computer desk so she doesn't get trampled! LOL!

Ours does sometimes after he has just made a number two outside! We always call it his poop celebration!;) :D

LOL! That's funny...especially since Milo just came in from going "out". LOL!!

Every dog I've had does this.
When I was growing up my little dog would just run and run in the house, barking up a storm.
My dog now does this too, but when she does it she'll tear up the house on her many laps around the house. We have to let her out and quick. She'll then run laps around the yard. :)

Ours doesn't, but my mom's Westie does. She runs like a maniac, usually in a big circle. :D

Our Westie does that all the time. Now the kitten usually chases him.

Our "outdoor" dog, Buddy, does this when he first comes in for a visit. He jumps, spins and then romps all around the house. It's pretty funny.

Dori will do it sometimes. Usually, it is Isaiah and Gracie chasing each other around the dining room table, into the living room and back again.

We have a border collie....need I say more? :p We just stay out of her way!!!!

Sometimes, outside, our dog Tony will just run in circles around the swing set for no apparent reason. I wonder if he's playing with the kids but a lot of the time I will see him from inside the house. Strange.

That is funny because my cat does the same thing after she eats. Almost like there is speed in her cat food. I laugh when I see her just going and going, I try to figure her out. I'm gonna have to take note to see if she poops right after she eats, this could be something animals do

Max runs around the yard outside. He's too big to run in the house without knocking everything over. I take him out there to run every day. Must be tough on him being in the house so much.

All of the time. Peabody usually does it when he has what we call his running baby in his mouth.
They both do it after a bath or if they're coming in from outside

Herding dogs tend to want to run around. Our pack of bearded collies will go runs around the hosue. Occaassionally, they will try to herd a PBGV (they object to being treated as sheep).

In the PBGV (Petite basset griffon venden) breed book, there is a phrase about running around that is great. It is called "zooning". Every now and then PBGVs just have to run full out through the house in joy. It is very fun to watch.

I thought the technical term was "the tears"...as in tearing around the house like your tail is on fire!!:D

When our two 90lbers get going (never just one at a time), we get up on the furniture to get out of the way!!

Luckily Milo, although 30 pounds, is short and has no tail so he can't do much damage. :) It is really funny to watch! It's even funnier to watch our Yorkie try to stay out of his way! LOL!
