The Wal-Mart near Disney? Yes they sell beer.

It is always so odd for us Pennsylvanians to see beer and wine being sold in grocery stores. We have to go to a state store for wine and "spirits" and a beer distributor for beer here in PA.

It does stink here. On top of that, the news is reporting that some state stores are losing money!! How do you lose money on a monopoly????

At the Wal-Mart on 192, we found coupons taped to the boxes of Bud Select. Not just beer...cheap beer.

I know the grocercy stores near Disney do as well, but they do have "spirit" stores for harder stuff.

We are just the opposite out here in Arizona compared to PA. We can get just about any liquor we want in the grocery store.

Yep WalMart does sell it! Our last trip down though we chose to use Garden Grocer. We had some groceries as well as our beer delivered

PA kills me with how they have to sell beer. We live in OH where we not only can get beer, but can get is lazily We have drive thrus, as well as the grocery stores, convenience stores, drug store, retailers, etc. It was a hard change for me when we moved to Harrisburg PA for a while. I think it's a racket though because you can go to local bars and "take-out" beer at a much higher price!

What is the nearest Walmart to Disney....the one we went to before was a Super Walmart near Florida Mall.

My friend has worked for a state run wine and spirits store. She makes just over $19 an hour plus full benefits.
She runs the register, straightens shelves and helps people who are looking for something. She loves his job.
Maybe that's why they are losing money. Who knows.

yes wal-mart does sell beer, but also their are about 3-4 gas stations in the disney resort area that sell beer for "normal" prices....I believe the gas station names are HESS.
