I never thought about it before. We are just back from Orlando and were
talking about our trip and how we would like to do the Hollywood trip on day.

Do they have any on site hotels there like Orlando? And more importantly, do they have express pass?

No onsite hotels that i know of. And they have the FOTL you can purchase. At least they did when we went. But we were told to not bother the day we were there since it was so quiet it wasn't needed. And it really wasn't.

We bought it when we were there a few Augusts ago. We found it really useful. It was a badge on a lanyard that you just flashed at the attendant. We stayed at the Sheraton that was right at Universal and there was a shuttle. I think there are two hotels that are right there with a shuttle.

We toured USH on a Monday end of June...ridiculously crowded, despite following UG touring schedule & tour bus driver's advice:confused3

their version of express pass would've cost us almost $250 for 3 peeps:eek: ...this is in addition to the tix we had bought.

i must've looked incredulous, the attendent told me that the express pass price fluctuates daily based on the attendence...said it was the highest she noticed lately:rolleyes1

still, the studio tour was very interesting, as was Simpson's, backdraft & van helsing walk thru:thumbsup2

Wow!!! When we got it, I'm pretty sure it was $90 and that included admission.
