Are you sure you want the do 3 full MK days in a row?

Your schedule seems awfully packed to me....

Also, wouldn't you be better visiting DTD on a day you are at disney, like your typhoon lagoon day? Rather than after a day at universal? You'd have to drive past it leaving TL anyway. Then visit the mall after your universal day instead?

I can post you our 2 week itenerary if it'll help?

That sounds like a great plan to me...:goodvibes

BUT....in my opinion, you dont need 3 full days at Magic Kingdom and it may be nice to spread them about a bit instead of one after another and also, may be good to do DTD after a waterpark and not Universal!! :confused3

I think you've done a good job there and fit everything in!!

Considering you told me on a previous thread that you may not get to go back for quite some time and it is important to you to do EVERYTHING, as I did on my first trip.......I think you'l have an amazing time!!

Totally go for it.....looks like you are doing.....you can change it as you go along if need be, thats the beauty about buying such flexible tickets!! :thumbsup2

I would agree with starting with MK as that is real Disney! But I personally wouldn't do Mk 3 days in a row, I would mix it up a bit because you might find you really like one of the other parks and want to do more days there. Also as you are staying off site it is really important to plan your days at Disney avoiding EMH. EMH is extra magic hours, all visitors staying on disney property get to enter certain parks on certain days one hour early, meaning if you (staying offsite) arrive for opening on that day the park will already be busy.

How old are the kids in your party? staying at a park from opening to closing maybe to much for younger ones.

Remember, you can visit more than one Disney park on one day too, so if for example you did AK in the daytime you can always pop into MK for a few hours in the evening :) Same with DTD, we used to go of an evening for a couple of hours or after the water parks.

I don't think it would be possible to Seaworld & Aquatica in one day, there are a lot of shows at Seaworld spread out over the day - just my opinion though, others may disagree :confused3

::yes::

Definitely avoid EMH days (as I said on your other thread about your plans)

Sunday evening is MK EMH during my trip - so I'd avoid it if I wasn't eligible for the EMH.

Just to let you know we don't know what the EMH days are for next year yet!! they are released approximately 90 days in advance (as I was told on another thread :)) of course this is not very good when you are trying to organise your park days this early out :rotfl:

Yes we love hopping, we particularly like spending the morning at DHS then catching the boat from the International Gateway over to Epcot and having lunch in world Showcase and then either staying in Epcot soaking up the atmospherein world showcase and watching Illuminations or catching the boat back and doing TOT and RNRC again!!

Thanks everyone for your idea, you are all fab :thumbsup2

Do you think it is possible to do MK in 2 full days instead of 3?

Or should we still do 3 days but spread out you mean?

I will change the Down Town Disney for when we go too Typhoon Water Park.. we can go for a meal after the water park.

And then go to a shopping mall after one of the Universal Studio's

Is it definately not possible to do both Seaworld and Aquatica in 1 full day ??

I thought that

a) They are both near to eachother
b) Wont have to pay for parking twice

Do you think we should do 1 full day in seaworld and 1 full day in Aquatica which will use up 1 of my days but we could leave out the Bucsh Gardens.

Why not just keep one day free for now and then take a vote when you are there to see which park people would want to revisit? you might have a different opinion when you have seen each park 'in the flesh' :)

If it were me I would plan 2 days at MK but not consecutively, then as you visit each park you will get an idea of which ones you want to revisit. You might find that your family with the 12 year old want to revisit IOA because of thrill rides, you might prefer another MK with your 4yr old, so be flexible with the plan and be prepared to maybe do different things from the rest of the party on 1 or 2 days

On the day you are at IOA I would plan on having dinner at Universal City Walk instead of DTD. City walk is located in walking distance of the 2 universal parks. You would be better off doing DTD on the day you are at Typhoon Lagoon. Like others have said you might find 3 days to much at MK, also you might find that you need more than a day at some of the other parks, Epcot for example if you want to take in everything in Future World and explore the world showcase.

As others have said spending a full day in the parks from opening until close might be too much. We always have a mid day park break, then often go back to a different park in the afternoon.

As others again have said I would avoid EHM park days as you are not eligable for EMH. Nearer the time if I were you I would subscribe to a service such as Ridemax (it is a programme you download onto your PC) This helps you plan the best days to go to which park, the order to do the rides in etc. We have used this in the past and found it really helpful.

Here you go sweetie.

Obvisouly our trip will be rpetty different to yours, as we are jsut going as an adult couple. But hopefully this will help you a little. :)

[Just to say - I can;t find my most recent one - but this is what mine looked like before I made my ADRs and the park hours came out - so should be more what you will be able to do at the minute anyway - I can let you see my final one when i find it!]

Thu 1st: Arrive 6/7pm

Dinner - Mara

Fri 2nd: MK 8am – (Splash Mountain, Dole Whip)

DTD – Lunch EARL

[If we have the energy! Epcot for Illuminations]

Sat 3rd: DHS EMH – (Toy Story)

Sci Fi Diner 12pm

MK 7pm for Spectro and Wishes

Sun 4th: AK (Everest, Safari)

Mon 5th: EP (Soarin’, Test Track)

5.15pm Photographers @ Boardwalk

Beaches and Cream Dinner / Epcot World food & Fireworks

Tue 6th: No morning plans

T-Rex Lunch – 3pm (or Saturday)

Fantasmic (take food along)

Wed 7th: Universal Studios

Bubba Gump after Park Closing

Thu 8th: MK EMH

Late breakfast reservation at Ohana or Chef Mickey so we’ve worked up a good appetite!

Back to MK for the parade maybe?

Fri 9th: Good morning for most parks – or waterpark?

Relaxing afternoon!

MNSSHP – eat something beforehand or on the way?

Sat 10th: T-Rex Lunch – 3pm (or Tuesday)

The crowds are going to be heavy for the next 3 days, so we can just do whatever we fancy and explore hotels, parks, waterparks, shop etc.

Sun 11th: Boma breakfast – 10.30am

Same as above.

Mon 12th: Meeting Kristi at 9.30am.

Grand Floridian Cafe lunch – 12.30

Good day for shopping or sunbathing – busy day at the parks! AK would be the least crowded.

Tue 13th: Back to quieter days in the parks now. Do what we fancy!

Jiko – 7.30pm Dinner,

as it’s our second to last night and I’d like to have a relaxing and romantic evening.

Wed 14th: Last day. L So fit in what we want to, and I think I’d like to finish it with Wishes at the MK!

Thu 15th: Home time – boooo!

Personally I would miss out Busch Gardens, I didn't go there til my second Orlando trip as there is more than enough to fill 2 weeks at WDW, Universal and Seaworld :) Personally I don't care for Seaworld (done it twice now and doubt we'll bother again until we have kids to take) but I know many do and if you want to see most or all of the shows it's definitely a full day park at least. I would swap BG for Aquatica :) I would agree with the view that 3 MK days is a bit much, might be an idea to do 2 but leave a day as free so you can return for a third day if you want to or choose another park. I've done similarly packed itineraries in 2 weeks so I understand the reasons for wanting to fit loads in.

It is absolutely possible - in fact, my BF and I usually visit the MK on our first morning (not this year unfortunately due to EMH - so we'll be starting with AK, which will still be awesome!). We arrive for opening, around 9am, and usually ride the following (not necessarily in order):

SM
Splash
BTMRR
Snow White
Pooh
Peter Pan
IASW
HM
Pirates
Buzz
Philharmagic

...all by noon - and we don't rush. So 2 days is definitely enough time, and you can always allow for a 3rd day to do your favourites again. Just get there for opening and utilize FP for the popular rides.

WOW some fab ideas :woohoo:

Ive just looked at the Seaworld Website and yet again it is bigger than i imagined

However i was looking at the types of Shows and i dont think we will do them all, purely because my daughter wont last all that time watching all thoses shows throughout the day.

I think these ones really appeal to us:

1) Believe
2) Blue Horizons
3) Clyde Takes Pirate Island

And in between fit in some of the rides.

I wouldn't plan on doing parks from opening to closing with a 4 year old it will be too much.

I also wouldn't go to the same park 3 days in a row.

I would leave out BG this time as it is over an hour away and you will have plenty to see and do in the local area :thumbsup2

I would leave another day free to go back to Epcot. That park is BIG. Most guide books suggest treating like two parks - do Future world one day and World showcase another.

Maybe it can replace a MK day?

Also you don't have to only go to one park per day - we very oftern go to one park in the morning then in the evening go back to a different park.

I would leave the last evening free to go back to you favorite park and see the fireworks one last time. We always go to MK and watch wishes and every time it brings a tear to my eye :goodvibes
