Does this seem unrealistic?

I'm confused. Is this assuming that the Indy FP return time is before 9AM? Otherwise how can you obtain FP's for two attractions so close together?
SS Columbia is quite correct. If you are near the front at park opening you will be to Indy shortly after 8 and FP return time will be roughly 8:45AM.
Does Ridemax factor this in because when I was playing around with it a couple of weeks ago, it spit out a schedule similar to this(FP's close together) and I thought it might be a mistake.
RideMax does account for this at DLR. At WDW it accounts for it in the WDW way which seems to be different for each park there. :headache:

In TSMM, I like being next to my DH while we play. It just doesn't seem as fun to play with someone I don't know.

Oh gosh, you might be missing out! I love the strangers I've been put with....they have been hilarious. We're a party of 3, so one of the adults is always the odd person out, and so on TSMM I've been "given" single riders and been a single rider (on the solo/ladies trips), it's always awesome. :goodvibes

Does this seem any better? It still feels like we have a lot, but also seems more relaxed. I really don't know. LOL

Andrea, when do you get in the day before? Are you guys going to be able to get enough rest to get up at 6? Which hotel did you guys go with? Will you be using ART? A lot of people use ART so sometimes you can't get on the first shuttle......I think Seth is being ridiculous not wanting to take a midday break, he has to know the littles are going to be tired and tired FAST! My suggestion would be to talk to him about him and the older boys staying and you taking the little guys back for a break. The break really helps!!! And it would help you all stay later too, I really think that a break midday and staying until midnight would be better for you all. You're there Thurs thru Sun? Is that right? Also, are you guys driving down or flying?

Hope to see you Saturday!!!! for the first time in 8 years!!!!!!!

We are getting in on Wednesday afternoon. Flight lands at 1:15, so we will be checked into the hotel and in the pool shortly after 3 hopefully. :) We plan to play in the pool for a couple of hours, then spend the evening in Downtown Disney shopping, eating dinner at ESPN, and playing video games. LOL We are going to bed early the first night so getting up at 6 will be super easy on Thursday. I'm more worried about getting up super early for our MM on Saturday :(

We're staying at CCI and using their free shuttle.

Yes, I know he's being ridiculous :( But I'm choosing my battles. He is also dead set against park hopping, but we're doing it anyway. We are definitely taking a break at the hotel on Friday and Saturday, but I'm letting him dictate our staying in the park on Thursday. He'll be so tired, he'll probably beg for the hotel break the rest of the time we're there. He's convinced that the little ones will sleep in the stroller like his older brothers did the last time we went, so going back to the hotel will just be a waste of time. I do think they will sleep in the stroller, but they are bigger nappers than their older brothers were and I don't believe they will get enough sleep in the stroller vs. going back to the hotel. We have season passes to our tiny theme park at home and go there often in the summer, so the younger boys are used to spending the whole day in the park and sleeping in the stroller. But it's just one day at a time and they don't get a full nap usually. They will not survive 5 days of catnaps in the stroller.

Forgot to add: I can't believe it's been 8 years. The last time you saw Joshua was when he was 2 days old, so you will be surprised to see my ginormous 8 year old. LOL

I saw that you only had 35 minutes for Toy Story, I would plan on longer than that. When I was there last month, the only time the wait was that short was first thing in the a.m..

I would also highly advocate the break in the afternoon. The parks tend to be more croweded than, rather than later at night. My dd is 16 and I still make us go back mid-day and take a break. We'd rather stay in the parks til closing and break mid-day when it's generally more crowded and this time of year far hotter.

Have your husband read this thread and Hydroguy's tips. Maybe enough outside opinions will help sway him.

Heck, post his cell phone number here and we will all call him. ;)

We just got back and had 8 days in the parks. By the end of day 2, we looked at each other and said, "What are we going to do now?" We had packed so much into those first 2 days (and one was only a half day) that we had done everything on our "must-do" list. We did take a break every afternoon and our kids are teens and a 9 year old. I can't imagine staying in the parks, mostly because we needed to get out of the parks and get away from each other.

I think with 5 days, you're going to have plenty of time to do it all. Don't worry about what you miss, because you'll have time to pick it up later. We found that on a Sunday evening after 8 pm, Toontown was dead. My dh and kids walked onto the Gadget Coaster, and we walked onto the Roger Rabbit ride.

Have fun!

Somewhere in the afternoon I'd plan for a half hour of down time....just because. :)

Whoa...I just read this. You have the CCI free shuttle??!!!!

Two very important things to consider....you MUST take your mid day break (imo)....if even for only an hour. The free dedicated shuttle makes this a no-brainer. (& early-mid afternoon the bus is pretty much empty both ways.)

Also, the shuttle leaves 5 min. later than posted in the morning. Take this into account when selecting the early morning shuttle. (Because of this we elected to walk one morning as the first shuttle of the day wouldn't have gotten us there until :40am.....& we wanted to be there at :20am

Also....I'd consider replacing Pirates in the early AM with BTMRR. (& then do Pirates late am or early pm.....Pirates line moves very quickly).

Ok, CCI is GREAT and catching the shuttle back midday is easy as pie!! I think you're probably right in the fact that he will decide to do a break or two after that first day. Walking around DL/DCA all day is very different from walking around your local theme park or even just walking around. Ok, so yes, let him do the commando thing on Thursday, he will get sensible the following days. LOL Don't let him not do the park hopping....seriously, there is no reason not to hop, he'll figure that out too. :)

Forgot to add: I can't believe it's been 8 years. The last time you saw Joshua was when he was 2 days old, so you will be surprised to see my ginormous 8 year old. LOL

I know!!!!!! It doesn't feel like it's been quite that long either.....

Heck, post his cell phone number here and we will all call him. ;)

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! Not sure he'd appreciate that one! lol

I agree with Hound, do BTMRR before Pirates. :) Then you can ride Pirates over and over and over.....I love Pirates! :)
