Does this make sense?

If you going to a park for evening emh's would you go to that same park during the day? I know I wouldn't. So logically that park would be less crowded during the day. Right?

I don't think so. Maybe in the morning but it would start filling up with all the people who don't have park hopping tickets. If they want to do EMH, they will have to be at that same park during the day.

Well, I may be different, but I always plan to visit the park that has evening EMH for the entire day. I know that if I get there at opening, I can get a few of the more crowded rides done in the morning, then I can take my time and have a sit-down lunch and dinner, knowing that I have the later evening hours to finish everything I want to do.

From what I've heard, evening EMH's bring bigger crowds that day.

I'd guess that a large majority of WDW visitors do not buy hoppers.

I've always heard that parks with EMH that day are busier but, it always seems to me that the wait times are always much shorter during the EMHs. I plan my days around the EMH and try to get the most hours possible in each park!

We avoid the parks with the morning or evening hours if at all possible. Maybe, just maybe we'll do one if we just happen to be in the area, like MK after the HDD, but that is the only time.

We never spend the day at a park that has EMH. Its going to be a long day anyway, so we go to another park, spend the morning , return to resort for swimming and return to the park with the EMH's later in the evening and just about stay till closing, but its still a long day.

Since we usually have AP's - we definitely hop from park to park to coincide with EMH. We go to every morning EMH park & then hop to another park by lunchtime. For evening EMH's, I plan on going to another park for the day & then hopping over for evening EMH.

I think the evening EMH park will be much busier throughout the day because a lot of guests don't invest in the park hoppers on their passes. Most of these guests will spend that entire day at the EMH evening park if they want to participate in that EMH. I know of a lot of other families that try to avoid EMH & the crowds, so they just steer clear of these parks altogether on these days.

We definitely take advantage of as many EMH's as we can - but, we always park hop to try to avoid the largest crowds. :)

On our April 2005 trip we went to Epcot before they closed for the fireworks and it was very crowded for the first half hour of EMH nights. The next night we about 45 min after MK closed for EMH and they crowds were gone and it was awesome! There were no waits, and we were able to many more rides at MK in than we did at Epcot.
