Does this count as a package?

We have our WDW accommodation booked already (25/9/08-15/10/08) and we were hoping to fly into Miami for 2 nights on the way up to WDW and stay in Miami for 2 nights on the way out but I have £700 of Tesco vouchers burning a hole in my pocket so I wondered:

If I was to use VH flying into Miami and stay in one of their hotels for 3 nights before going to WDW and flying out again on 21 nights later (not requiring accommodation for the other 21 nights) does this count as a package holiday where I can use my vouchers or a fly drive with added hotel stay?

I hope it makes sense, i'm not sure it did as I was typing it

Fly drive with added hotel stay and beware if you do not hire a car for the non accommodation nights they will probaly charge you £30 per person for each full 7 days that there is nothing booked wiht them.

To be honest a flight booked direct with VA, esp during a sale, may be cheaper than VH anyway, except you have clubcard vouchers to use

I know what you mean, at the moment VA is coming in at £1858 for flights into Miami from London, it's an extra £320 to get from Glasgow to London so we will be hiring a car one way for only £65, our family live half an hour from Gatwick and Heathrow so we will still be saving money and seeing the family at the same time.

VH are charging £2124 fly drive (without the insurance) so VA do look much better at the moment.

It just suddenly dawned on me yesterday that we had vouchers and to see if we could include a miami hotel and have it as a package so it's not a problem, we'll just have to make sure we use the vouchers for another holiday!

I was just hoping that the flight prices would come down just a wee bit as they went for just over £1500 for the same dates this year, i'm sure it was either yourself or someone equally knowledgable who said that VA have had a sale on in April in the past so maybe i'll hang on until then.

if you use tesco vouchers they insist you have accomodation booked thru them for every night to qualify
