Does this background page exist?

Does anyone know where I can get some background pages of the Wilderness Lodge for my upcoming trip in December? Is it possible to create your own background pages? I don't want to just decorate my scrapbook with pictures and embellishments representing the WL. I want to have maybe a picture of the front of the lodge, the courtyard area and perhaps the lobby as an actual 12 x 12 page to work with. Any leads?

TIA

I've never heard of nor seen this paper. My best suggestion would be to take a photo of the front of the lodge and then print it as a 12x12 photo. You can edit it so that it is faded a bit or has faded edges, etc. if you would like Then you can print as many as you need/want.

Just be aware that 12x12 prints can be pricey. Good luck!

I know for sure that you can through Creative Memories and Walmart. I know there are some other online sites as well but I'm not terribly familiar with them.

Canon and HP both make printers that can print 12 x 12 too...when our printer dies I told my DH we're getting one of those!

Can print 12x12 @ scrapbookpictures.com too. If you do it with a matte finish, it would look more like paper than the glossy.

You could make your own, by making logs on the edges to make it look like the lodge...

Hoagie, that is exactly what I was going to suggest.:thumbsup2

Please post your layout when it is done. Can't wait to see it!

Sure thing! But it may be a while since my trip isn't until the beginning of December. While I'm at the WL, I'll take a look around to see what the gift shop has to offer.

I know someone on the Cricut board made their own paper by printing a photo off on a 12x12 piece of cardstock. If you have a printer that can print 12x12 it would be pretty simple to do.

I would say use some cardstock in dark brown, and just draw in lines to make them look like logs. Look on the web for lincoln logs, I am sure there is a pattern for them somewhere. I stayed there this last February, I am 2 trips behind that in scrappin though...

Artist's Point has a paper menu that uses a sepia toned print that would work very nicely! It's about 8 1/2 x 11, and I do not know if the paper is acid free, but it might do the trick!

That sounds really neat! I'm eating there for the first time in December.
