Does the Villa Really Exist?

Hi,
I'm about to sign a rental contract for a 6br home in Windsor Hills. The owner seems very nice and has offered that she has listings on other sites, suggested that I call the developer (she has bought several homes), suggested that I speak to the property manager, offered references, but I remember reading about how you should look up the property tax records to confirm that house is actually owned by the people that you are renting from, but I can't find the link. If you have any other suggestions, I will happily take those as well.

Can anyone help?

I want to believe this person, but I don't want to be a dope.

Hi Jannyans:

Thank You for the website. I tried it and I think I got the right place, the only discrepancy is the amount of bedrooms. It's suppose to be 5 and it states 3.

I wouldn't worry too much about that to be honest .My home is a 5/3 in Davenport yet is shown as a 3 on the county site .I think it is something to do with when the plots were submitted to the county for registering they only used the basic plans which were then internally altered to suit. As long as the owner info checks out you will be ok .
