Does the Poly have gift baskets, or just WDW florist?

I want to get something for my family for our stay at the Polynesian. I was thinking of something fun for the kids, and something with wine and cheese for my DH, since we are celebrating our 20th. I was looking over the Disney florist site and they have some great things, but I wondered if there was something with a more tropical feel, or I remember someone got chocolate covered strawberries at the Poly? Did these come from concierge?

The Polynesian does their gif baskets through the WDW Florist and they do many more than what shows on the web page. They can put together just about anything. Last time we were there they sent us some Hawaiian gift baskets that were in a dried banana leaf basket with Kona coffee, Mac nuts and some other Hawaiian goodies. I am sure if you ask them for a Hawaiian gift basket they will have some options.

That sounds more like what I was looking for! We didn't make it to Hawaii for our 20th, but the Polynesian is a great substitute! I'll call tonight!

That is correct. The new in-room menu does have the strawberries.

If you call the Polynesian directly and ask to speak to in-room dining (room service) there will be several options available. I ordered my husband a white chocolate Mickey and Minnie bride and groom with chocolate truffles. I think this was called the Romance Turndown or something like that. Here's a picture:

Hmm....we were there in late Feb. and again in May. I wonder if it was on the room service menu and I just missed it those trips? Were the strawberries good?
