Does the free Express bus pertain to the cruise line too?

We'll be doing a 7 day cruise in June, 2006. Love to take advantage of this perk. I have a bad feeling though...

Hmmmm--rebook onboard Jill???? :) :goodvibes :) How was it? Are you going to be posting a report?

Everything I have read or seen indicates that the Magical Express is only from MCO to your resort, and back again. Nothing about the cruise line.

The Disney Cruise Line motor coach service to and from Port Canaveral is still a paid service, not a complimentary service.

Disney's Magical Express only serves Orlando International Airport and Disney-operated WDW resorts.

Thanks guys.

Deb, we had the time of our lives on the Wonder. I posted a mini report last week when I got back on the cruise forum. The first four days at DW were fun, but chilly! The BW was great. Then the cruise...wow. The kids had an absolute blast in the clubs, my DS16 made a ton of new friends, got home at 2:00 am every night! He ended up getting together with them at DW afterward for the next three nights. And my DS12 wanted a 1:00 am curfew when his club got out..I got real flexible as time went on, it was so safe on the ship. Castaway Cay was a true paradise. Thats why I booked this particular cruise next June, it goes there twice. :) Very cool. It was the highlight of our trip. Anyway, it was a 12 day non stop trip, kind of glad to get back into the routine, but really loved that cruise!

As said the cruise bus is not a free service like DME. That said DME, I'm sur, will not remain a free service forever. At some point they will start charging for this service. It is currently being touted as a special kickoff program conected to the Happiest Place on Earth celebration. I hope it remains free throughout the 18 months of the celebration.

Disney's Magical Express is offically complimentary through 2006. After that, the service is likely to remain complimentary if Disney determines that the financial benefits (more on-site spending, higher occupancy, fewer room discounts, greater guest satisfaction leading to greater attendance) justify the substantial cost of providing the transportation and luggage transfers.
