Does the Contemporary still accept faxed requests?

We leave for the Contemporary in three days. I'm asking because many resorts have eliminated this option. By the way, I gave my requests to CRO when making my reservation.

Hi - I'm assuming they do, because I made no requests prior to faxing them on my trip in April. We were given a terrific room on the 11th floor with a spectacular view of the MK. We only asked for non-smoking and hopefully a view of the MK, with no mention of a specific floor or room #. I can't find the fax # - hopefully someone else can help with that.

We faxed a request for our May stay that was granted! The Contemporary Room Assigner is now one of my favorite people!

I made my requests through my reservation,
but should I still fax or call to make sure they get it a few days before I leave?

DO they actually assign the rooms before you get there or the day you arrive?

According to CM's who have posted on this board, room assigners get reservations about 10 days before your arrival, and make assignments 4 days before your arrival. You can still make changes upon check-in depending on availability and how quickly you want your room.
