Does the BC have a "counter service" restaurant?

Or does it have anyplace to grab a quick bite in the morning? How about chicken strips or a pizza for lunch or dinner? Thanks!

Technically yes, but it's pretty minimal. The only real counter service place is the pool snack bar, Hurricane Hannah's. Quick food is the drawback to these resorts, which are wonderful otherwise. A counter service breakfast is served at Beaches and Cream, but I've found it to be a zoo b/c the restaurant is small and not really intended to be a counter service -- maybe it's just when I've been there. Beaches and Cream also has carryout for its limited sandwiches menu and ice cream creations. At peak times, such as when the parks just closed, expect long lines. You can get takeout pizza across the lake at the Boardwalk.

I have to say that this is one of the few drawbacks to the BC and YC. There is no quick place for breakfast.

What we usually do for breakfast is pick up (the night before) something at the bakery at the BW. Or we just go to the park a little early and get breakfast there. We usually have fruit in the room and have a banana or something before we go.

They also sell boxes of pastries and doughnuts in the gift shop at the BC and the BW. You can also have that in the room.

But be prepared for looong lines for coffee at B&C too! I keep hoping that something new wil open for food choices there now that the villas share the same spave.

I know when we stayed at the Beach Club in December, they had a breakfast service in the bar in the lobby. They had danish, bagels, muffins, etc. and coffee, tea and juice. Typical Disney prices ($2+/bagel, etc.).

You can get a quick lunch at Hurricane Hannahs, but one day of our trip it wasn't open at all! And it was a Saturday! I guess because it wasn't that warm out, they don't have it open all of the time...

You could always walk over to the Dolphin; Tubbi's is open 24 hrs a day.

I don't really recommend hauling pizza from the Boardwalk back over to the Beach Club...I did that once to the Swan and it was cold when I got there. The pizza may have been fine if it was warm, but it wasn't the best cold pizza I ever had (and I ate a lot of it when I was in college).
