Does the basic AP include park hopping?

Hi, I have a ticket related question I hope someone can help me with.

As we're travelling from the UK we have the option to buy a 14 day unlimited access "holiday ticket" for $122. The basic AP however costs just $119. So it's a no brainer which ones we bought yesterday!

The question is - does the basic AP - think it's called a power pass or something like that - let us do both parks in one day?

i may be wrong but i think you can, on the website it says "Fourteeen (14) days of unlimited park-to-park access to both Universal Studios Florida® AND Universal’s Islands of Adventure® theme parks" ...... "park-to-park" sounds as if you can, even though its not so clear. im pretty sure you can!! i know we could with the 2day-2park ticket. hope iv helped! x

You have the AP, that lets you go park to park and visit almost as many times as you want for the year. The difference with the POWER PASS, is you don't get free parking, no extra discounts on hotel or restaurants and there are blackout dates applied...you aren't able to use it certain days of the year. What those are, I don't know....

The black-out dates for the Power Pass for 2007 are:

January 1
April 2-6
April 7 (9:00am-5:00pm)
June 25-29
July 2-6, 9-13, 16-20, 23-27
July 30-August 3
December 23-January 1

But otherwise - yes, you can park hop on the Power Pass.
