Does SSR have someone to do bday cakes?

I was wondering if SSR has a chef that does cakes there or if you know of who I might call to deliver a cake to SSR.

Call (407) wdw-dine and ask them. They gave me a # last April for B-day cakes. Good Luck!

We looked into this when staying at SSR and found it to be very very expensive. We saw the cakes and they were just ok. We wound up going with the local publix bakery. We bought two cakes, one Nemo and one the Incredibles for $13.95 each. I was floored by the price and quality of the cakes.

Last year for my nephews b-day we did not plan ahead. I called the front desk the day before and they told me that AP sells full sized b-day cakes. When I talked to AP they said they had yellow cake w/ white icing or chocolate/chocolate. I went w/ the yellow cake. The cake looked beautiful, but really had no taste. I'm guessing it was a frozen cake. Now it's been a year, and I don't know if it would have been different had I ordered more in advance, but this year we are just going to get one from the grocery store.

I highly recommend the Goodings Bakery. They do great cakes and I have had them delivered also.

We had a birthday at OKW a couple of years ago and before the big day, we stopped by the Boardwalk Bakery and ordered a cake. It tasted great and our daughter loved it. Of course it wasn't a child's cake (decorations), but we did think the tast was great. I believe they would have delivered it to the resort if we had asked, but we had a vehicle and just drove over and picked it up.
