Does SSR have dedicated busses?

As I'm making our plans for our upcoming trip, and especially when it comes to getting to an ADR on time, I wanted to make sure that I understood the transportation at SSR.

So, if I understand correctly, SSR has dedicated busses (busses that only service SSR and no other resorts), right?

Also, how long does it take to get to the different parks on the bus from SSR?

SSR busses are dedicated as they do not share with any other resort.

There have been reports (very few) that during slow times during EMH's the bus was shared with OKW at closing. We have not had this experience and have always been delivered straight to a park via SSR busses.

Epcot is very close as is MGM. About 10-15 min bus ride. AKL and MK take a little longer, around 20-25 min. Allow time to wait for the bus also.

SSR is the only DVC we mainly use the busses at, because they are dedicated and the internal stops are all on a loop (no backtracking).
We normally have a vehicle, but we keep it parked at SSR because we have found the transportation to be efficient. We also like the boat to DTD and OKW and POR on leisurely days.

Yes, it does have dedicated busses.

Even during slow periods, I would recommend giving yourself a bare minimum of 45 minutes to get to a theme park. If you just miss a bus, it may be 15 minutes before the next one comes by. Then figure +/- 20 minutes transit time plus you'll need time to get through security and the turnstiles at the park.

Giving yourself an hour is probably safer since you'll need time to get to the restaurant, too.

If you're headed out first thing in the morning (before park opening) or visiting during a busy season, I'd plan on leaving over an hour ahead of time.

I thought SSR shared some buses with OKW.

As recently as last week, SSR did not share with any other resorts.

It does seem that they often share a DME bus route, not that that impacts this discussion.....

They definitely share boats. Again, not that it's relevent to this discussion.....but I could see where the shared transport between OKW and SSR could get into a person's subconscious.

We just got back from SSR. Only time we shared a bus with OKW was the after the 9:30pm show of Hoop De Doo, where they set up busses just to deal with the last Hoop De Doo show.

There are alot of DME buses that share resorts. Maybe it was the Hoop Dee Doo bus we shared
