...for a friend to shop, & if so does anyone have an extra to spare?

Our nearest 1 is about an hour away (we are getting 1, but not until the new year) anyways once in awhile they print a 1 day pass in the a local flyer, however there have not been any lately, & I was really hoping to get DD5 the Biggest Littlest Pet Shop there.
Any help/ideas would be so Greatly Appreciated! :)

yes, HOWEVER, the ones I have seen will add 10% to the total bill. I believe you can even go to the front desk for one.

Thanks so much, I did not know about the 10%.

I went on their website just to see about joining, for some reason I thought it was much more $ to join?! There is a Business membership for only $35.00, however do you have to own a business for this?

When I signed up I did own my own business but it has been closed for 2yrs and they never asked me if I still own a business I just renew my membership automatically and when I signed up they never asked about my business.

I used to work for Sam's Club and was the top booker of Business Accts for the year I was there!

To open a business acct you must show:

A business credit card
A business Card
A tax exempt form
Letterhead
Basically anything with the name of the business on it.

These are all ORs, not ANDs, btw. They can be very lenient or stringent depending on the associate you deal with, they have to follow certain guidelines but they do have a quota to fill so they may give you a break.

Sam's biggest business is SMALL businesses so they do cater to them and go all out to get them signed up.

I was just reading the fine print on an ad in my People and Sams is now taking Mastercard and you can get a one day guest pass at www.samsclub.com/mastercard. It does have a 10% fee added to your purchases though.

I have never had a problem just asking for a guest pass when I enter the store (usually get sent to the membership counter but it's no hassle there to get the guest pass).

I don't think they do passes that don't have the charge.

I think that is correct. If you want to enter the club as a guest, you will pay a 10% upcharge.

Here's something I figured out over the last few years: Unless you visit Sam's Club on a frequent basis, don't automatically renew your membership each time it comes up. I go about every six weeks and so I wait until my next visit before I renew. Example: If my membership expired in March 2006, I renewed it in April 2006 rather than paying for it to be effective in March when I knew I wouldn't be in the store until April. My account still shows my original "Member Since" date just like if I had renewed "on time".
