Does Poly bell services now have a freezer?

Hey all -

We generally order grocery delivery (non perishable, refrigerated, and frozen) to our resort and have the items held at bell services. Last time we stayed in a poly bungalow, we found out that they do not have a freezer area in bell services since the bungalows at that time were the only rooms with full refrigerators.

Given that the new tower has 1 and 2 BRs, does anyone know if they upgraded bell services to include a freezer area? We have an 8 night bungalow stay coming up and want to order groceries appropriately.

Dumb question, but what did (do?) they have in Bell Services at the Poly? Some kind of refrigerators which don't have freezer sections?

We were told bell services didn’t have a freezer, just refrigerated section because the longhouses only had mini fridges. I guess it’s possible that was not accurate and this whole time bell services has actually had a freezer area.

I don't know the answer for sure, but my recent experience leads me to believe that you may be right that they don't have a freezer. I ordered from instacart and gave instructions for the delivery to be put into the freezer when dropped off at Poly bell services. However, when my order was brought up to the room right after I checked in, the freezer items were all melted. I assumed the instacart delivery person failed to let bell services know about the frozen items, but after seeing your question/comment maybe the problem was that there is no freezer at Poly bell services. I suppose it may be worth a call to verify. Hope you have a great stay in the Bungalows!

Thanks for your answer! I thought about calling but am not sure the person I speak to would actually know. I’ll ask when we get there and if they have a freezer section, maybe we’ll get a second delivery.

My son did the CP recently. One of his good buddies is now working for bell services at the Poly. He said ask for it specifically or specify because there are a lot of *edit* people working there.

i believe all of them have freezer. You just have to specify which bag/item needs freezing.

I imagine they might have a commercial refrigerator, such as would be found in a restaurant kitchen. Those would not have a freezer section, since there would be separate commercial freezers used as well. So, it’s certainly possible no freezer is available.

At this point, I can say with a fair degree of confidence bell services at poly does not have a freezer. I asked one person at bell services and our frozen items (breakfast sandwiches and frozen pizzas were cool but not cold).

My son’s friend works BS at Poly and he said there is a freezer. Whether they use it or not….
