I think I had the most drama free Thanskgiving and decorating I have ever had.


The tree is up and so is the lights and garland but the ornaments are still waitng to be put on. Hopefully there will be a night this week that will get done.

Trying to sort through the other items that have been in deep storage for a while.

Oh the Christmas decorations and trees are so lovely! I really need to get on doing that! I helped the family in Indiana do it over the weekend, now I need to do my own! I love the idea of the photos on the fridge! Super cute!

I am SO in love with peppermint mocha's from Starbucks! I bought International Delight's Peppermint Mocha creamer the other day and it is to die for!!

Love that you had such nice weather in GA for your decorating! We got to about 64 here in Maryland. And your house turned out beautiful as always! You'll always be one of the best house decorating DIS friends in my book!

I think that Mickey topper is so cute! I would love to have one, but my antenna disappears when I turn off the car! I noticed the picture of the Fox theater in Atlanta where the premiere of GWTW was held, pretty cool!

I probably won't put up decorations for a couple of weeks. Since it's just the two of us there is no rush to get things out. I haven't had the Christmas mood hit me yet.

No tree for me this year. I'll be at Jill's for Christmas, and then we'll be in WDW until after the New Year festivities. When I come home, I'll be going straight back to work, so I made the executive decision just not to pull all the stuff out this year. The girls will only be here one time in December, anyway, and the boys don't care one way or the other about the tree, so I am safe. As long as there is food, the boys are good, and as long as there are presents, the girls are good.

I did put the Christmas door hanging of Pooh and the gang on the driveway door. I'm bringing out my big Caroler Mickey, and he will sit in the middle of the table to bring Disney Christmas delight to all who enter. I'll wrap the gifts and light some scented candles for atmosphere, and that's about as Christmasy as we're getting this year.

Your house looks great! I will enjoy looking at the trees of our DIS friends until we leave, and then I will be saturated with Christmas when we get to WDW. :

I'm not a coffee drinker, but Drew is. For one of his gifts, (I get small things and money for him) I'll have to give him some of that peppermint mocha creamer Roxychica was talking about. He would like that, so thanks for the gift idea.

Okay so I finally got caught up on the holiday updates here! Well, So I missed your "Happy Thanksgiving" so I'll say it now! and I loved looking at your tree and of course Mary Ellen's too!

I also forgot to say how sweet and nostalgic your old christmas photos on the fridge are, love the magnets are also red and green...


We came home Saturday evening, and all day Sunday I cleaned cleaned cleaned, and decorated SOME of my house... I just love doing it, and it was my incentive b/c I wouldn't do it unless the house was clean!!! SO it also helped me from feeling the sway of the boat if I kept moving that whole time! We are getting our tree this weekend, and I am getting my cookie baking schedule in place too! We are going to start our gingerbread house this weekend as well. OH, and did I mention I have to oversee an entrance exam session for 600 8th graders on Saturday?? Shoot, if you didn't drink all the wine at Thanksgiving, send me some!!!! LOL!!!

Me: Are you afraid of clowns?

Charles: (looking at me like I had grown a second head) No, why would you ask me that?

Me: Well, I just needed to check because the pool at the Boardwalk has a giant clown head.

I thought it was a perfectly legitimate question.

I love this! Very good idea to double-check before booking though! I cannot wait to see your chair with the Creepy Clown Chair. Hopefully his brother will someday return too.

We have found that (Keeley's) Kyle has a irrational fear of clowns. He was looking at our DVC members book and saw the Boardwalk pool, took a look at George and said I hope we NEVER stay there!!!! This ginormous guy just had a college call him last night from S. Carolina asking him to come and wrestle for them and he's afraid of clowns....
I guess we can't help what we are afraid of!

Hi Jackie! Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. Your tree & other decorations look great. We'll be getting our tree next weekend. We got to enjoy our local Christmas parade last night & we'll be at our little town's holiday celebration this evening.

I was disappointed when I couldn't find Prep & Landing on the tv schedule this year. But was very excited to see the sequel & to find Prep & Landing on DVD Friday night!! Zach loves Prep & Landing so we're all excited to see Naught vs. Nice.
