We've done the CP dinner package for the last few years, and last year we came upon a problem. I thought that the child price for the package started age 3, and that if my then 1-year old didn't eat, we wouldn't need to pay for him. Well, we ate at the Rose and Crown and were told we would have to pay for his ticket, whether he ate or not. We questioned what age the cut off date was, since we'd previously done the package with an 11-month old and not paid for him, and the server said everyone had to pay, no matter what age. When a manager walked around and asked how our meal was, we again questioned the policy, and were told we didn't have to pay for him if he wasn't eating. We were then only given 2 tickets to the show, and no one asked why DS didn't have a ticket.
So this year we're doing the package again, eating at Chefs de France, and DS will be 2. He doesn't need his own meal, but what's the official policy, will we have to pay for him? And if not and we don't get a ticket for him, will we have issues getting into the show, or can we just tell them his age?
