Does MVMCP offer a dinner package?

I just heard that tickets for MVMCP are now on sale, but the CMs don't know if any dinner packages will be offered. Did they offer dinner packages last year? If so how does that work? If I want a dinner package, should I wait to purchase it with the tickets, or can I buy the tickets to MVMCP & make a PS for a restaurant in MK on my own? A la carte style!

Thanks for any replies!

yes, there were dinner packages last year. that is about all i can help you with. sorry:(

We were able to make PS for the Liberty Tree Tavern last year on the evening we purchased tickets for MVMCP. If I remember correctly, I was able to book this way ahead of the 60 day point. Got one of the first seatings. We were able to have dinner and finish up just about the time MVMCP started. Headed right over and had our picture taken after dinner without any wait. Worked well for us.

Even if they do not offer this option this year, you can still call and make the PS at the 60 mark...

Last year they admitted MVMCP ticketholders at 4:00pm and distributed wristbands so you don't need a PS to be able to stay in the park between regular closing and the start of MVMCP. We got there about 4:30, we ate before we got there and got a nice jump on the party, ride lines were short. At 6:00pm those with wristbands were asked to go to Tomorrowland while they cleared the rest of the park.

This has been true for the last 2 years and that's great for some but things can change from year to year. I don't like taking any chances.

I'd rather be assured entrance before the park closes with PS. It worked well for me. I got to the park at 5:00 for a 5:30 PS; ate my dinner at LTT and at 6:45 we were outside the restaurant waiting for the park to open with no crowd at all. There's a photo station right outside LTT so we were the first ones in line for our photo and then we headed to HM with NO line at all....it was wonderful.

Thanks for the info everyone! Even if we don't need a PS to stay in the park, I just thought it might be nice to eat in MK since we'll be spending the whole day there anyway. (Thanks for that info DebbieB, I wasn't aware of that. :) I learn something new everyday on the DisBoards. :)

I just bought my MVMCP tickets today, I couldn't hold out! Dec. 19th is the only day we can go and I didn't want to take the chance that it would sell out!! But I'll still eat in the MK and just book 60 days out.

If Disney does offer dinner packages do you have to buy MCVMP tickets at the same time, or not? Like, can I add a dinner package (if avaliable) even though I already purchased my tickets?

Thanks again,

I did just that same thing last year. I purchases my MVMCP tickets early and when the dinner packages came out I called again to make my PS. It was no big deal.
