Does MVMCP affect daytime attendance?

We will be arriving late on December 15. We can hardly wait to get to MK so waiting until the end of our trip just wouldn't work. Should we go on Friday, December 16 or Saturday, December 17? Will MVMCP affect daytime attendance on Friday? Also, rule of thumb usually is Saturday is high attendance day for MK. Which would you choose?

I would say go on Friday if you can. Maybe with MVMCP that night, it will not be as crowded since it closes at 6. Saturday MK is open late with double Spectros... even though I will be there that night I expect it to be packed!!

You won't get SpectroMagic or Wishes Fireworks on Friday. If you only have one day to go to MK, I choose Saturday because you can see Wishes and Spectro. Wishes fireworks and the SpectroMagic parade are must sees.

Check this link out. It gives the best days to visit each park for the next year or so. MK is suggested to visit on Dec 17th.

I think Saturday might be better but crowd wise, I really don't think you will see a difference. According to touringplans.com, they suggest Saturday but last year, both Saturdays were packed. Maybe not with tourist who are flying in and out but with locals. Monday at the MK last year was no better.

Is there ever a good time to visit the MK???????

I was thinking of doing the MK on Wed (Dec 7th) but that is also an EEH at the MK and I think it's going to be too crazy. Eventhough tourplans.com states that Thurs are busy, I'm going to try for the MK on Thurs am and then head to another park later in the day.
