Does MDE NOT see park hoppers as FP options?

Ok I have a FP in EP for TT in the morning and instead of being able to book FPs in MK (my remaining 2 allotted) it's pre-selecting 2 more at EP for me. Modifying them only gives me EP options...

Is this just how it works? And then once in MK I make my other 2?

Yep, make sure you either use the other 2 EP FP+ or set them early enough to expire before you get to MK

At MK, head to a FP+ kiosk and book your 4th FP+ for the day, use that one, head to a kiosk and repeat.
(Once you secure an additional FP+ you can modify it (time or attraction) via the MDE app, but you need the kiosk)

The other option is to rope drop or single rider TT and get your 3 FP+ at MK in the afternoon

Try this thread. The 3 prebooked FP+ must all be in one park. Once those are used or expired, you can book additional same day FP+ in person at the other park.

you must use your initial 3 FP+ at the same park.
once you use them or let the time frame pass then you can go to another park and select one additional FP+ at a time at a kiosk.

yes its one of the negatives of FP+ but overall i like FP+ and since i don't usually park hop it doesn't bother me all that much.

Alternativly get to Epcot early, ride Test Track and anything else you want in the standby line and schedule your FPs for the afternoon in Magic Kingdom. MK will be busier in the afternoon so the FPs will be more worthwhile.

Nobody has mentioned an entirely different solution.
When the OP (BellsFam) gets to Epcot that day:
FIRST (before riding Test Track) just CANCEL the other two (unwanted) FP+ choices.
(Yes, cancel just those unwanted two FP+.)

Then, as soon as the guest rides Test Track, the guest can then book a "4th" FP+ at Epcot (even Test Track again, if available)
or head to any other park and book a "4th" FP+ there.
After the 4th FP+ is used, the guest can then book a 5th FP+, and so on.

Yep, that's how it works. And it does stink. If only we could get around tiering by buying a park hopper!
