Does it really take up to 30 days? Updated 4/27-We're in!

Update: Called and obtained member number and activation information- we are in! The MA CM I spoke with, Debbie, gave me the necessary info and then transferred me over to MS. I was told my points transferred on Wednesday (4/26), and our deed recorded on Tuesday (4/18), so turnaround was relatively quick! I'm glad I called today! Best wishes to all of my future neighbors, and welcome home!!
 
Well, I just booked a 5 night stay in September at SSR, standard studio, September 16-21 , after okaying it with my husband, in order to use up the 34 extra points that came with the contract, 24 banked from Dec 2015, and 8 from Dec 2016, that were all expiring this Nov 30th. In order to complete the stay, I had to borrow some points from my December 2017 point allocation, which means if for some reason I cancel this September trip, now I have 58 points I would need to use by November 30th. This December use year is a PIA! I really liked my previous Oct use year on our two contracts that we sold. Oh well. This contract had so many other good things about it. I'll make it work. Just have to change my mindset a little. Now when I book our December trip, I'm going to need to borrow a few points from 2018. Can't believe I'm already in the borrowing cycle, lol! No problem just didn't want you to be waiting on an opening for early dec only to find out those points had to be used by nov 30th
 
I just called using option 3 and was told they can't give me my number over the phone. This board is giving me hope. I'll keep trying, hoping that I get a different person, the other person did not want to speak to me much at all!

How long ago was your deed recorded?
 
So, I just tried to call. The first CM I spoke with at Member Services would not transfer me to Member Administration without my member #. When I told her that was the purpose of my call, we went down the 'oh did you recently purchase resale' rabbit hole and I was informed that I would get my number in the mail. Very cordial, but not very helpful. I called back right away and I did get through to MA and found out my contract has not yet been processed (I expected that just got antsy). I'll try again on Friday. I think this does reaffirm that if you can't get info from some one in MS, call back and try to get to Member Administration. They did ask for my seller's name and my contract number. I don't think I have seen that posted here before. It may help things along if you have those ready.[/QUOTE

I wonder do they note when you call and note you've called and then wont give you the information
