Do you save much money by booking a year in advance?

And when to disney change their pricing, once or twice a year?

the reason im asking is that friends of ours have already booked for june next year and we are going to tag along but i havent booked it yet. current early bird offer is 15%, but as we all know, discounts and offers change all the time. So will disneys brouchure price go up at the beginning of every new year?

if for example i catch a 30% or 40% off offer in say january 2012, it may not be much of a saving compared to the current price, if disneys brouchure price goes up at the beginning of the year??

do you understand?

i probably havent explained myself properly but hopefully you catch my drift?? :rolleyes1

Disney's full brochure price is already set, and won't be increasing now, for any available date you can book a trip (so up to sometime in June 2012 for UK bookings).

Sometimes it can be a good idea to book early, if there are good offers on. But personally I don't think 15% is a great discount. I booked 8 months in advance for March this year and got a great deal (it equated to around 40% off) but its really just a case of, if you think the price is too high right now, wait and see if a better offer comes out.

.....
well this is the dilema we have. i have no previous experience of how prices are for june. we have only been in september and then we paid £429 for 4 days at santa fe. we have priced up june in the cheyenne for 4 days at £552.50.

whether thats a good price or not i have no idea.

I'm having the same dilemma, we went this new year (Jan 4th - 8th 2011). I booked it in September 2010 for 1 adult 2 kids under 12 and paid £298 for the 4 nights on a 2days and nights free offer.
We loved it at that time of year as it was pretty quiet and still very festive, so much so I want to go again at the same time in 2012. The price for the same package is £460 ish which still isn't bad I know, but I would be kicking myself if I booked it and then found a better offer!
What to do?? Any advice greatly recieved!

I was in the same position this month deciding whether to book for april next year now or not, in the end we booked as

1. it allows me to budget for the holiday - we have paid in full as booked online, and on a 0% credit card, so am paying a set amount off each month

2. we are going for my 30th birthday, so wanted a special one and booked the DLH so gives us something to look forward too in advance knowing we are going.

3. I book going via a cash back site, and Topcashback had a special offer of 7.5% cash back instead of the normal 5% cash back, so when top cash back is paid will get some money back any way

4. Work can be hard to get a week off in one go if leave the request to too late, so at least i know exact date when going

Have not booked the hotel in paris yet (as we are doing 3 nights in paris and 2 nights at disneyland hotel.

To be honest now i have booked, i just wont look at the prices just incase it is cheaper, but at least i know its paid for.

Though reading on here, i know some people have booked and then if a really good offer, they have cancelled and rebooked again (as on occasion with the cancellation fee has worked out worthwhile
