Does humming annoy you?

If people are humming a really annoying song while I'm doing my work at school it's annoying.

Yes humming annoys me and so does Whistling. I dont know why, it just does. Sometimes my 11 yr old son stands behind me and looks at stuff with me on the computer and he is HUMMING...Im like "STOP IT !!!!"

My sister used to hummmmm all the time and it drove me NUTS. I still can't stand it when people hum.

I don't hum, & humming doesn't really bother me.
BUT....
oh I can't stand whistling!

The people around here that do it are incredible nerds that don't have any social skills so I think like they do it instead of talking.

Maybe their minds are just cluttered. I didn't hum before, and don't now, but right after my mother passed away, I did. I didn't know I was doing it until a girl at work asked me why I was always in a good mood. I didn't know what she was talking about because I definitely wasn't. She said I was always humming. I never even noticed. It finally stopped after about 4 months or so. Maybe we can cut the hummers some slack.
