Does golf tournament affect crowds

DH and I will be at CBR Oct 15-23, during the Funai Classic golf tournament. We had no idea of the timing of this even when we booked our pkg. last January! Does the golf tournament have an effect on the parks, and especially at CBR?

We were there last October during the golf tournament and it didn't affect the parks at all. The resorts (GF, Poly and SOG) near the golf courses will probably see more traffic.

Here is my take on the situation. The resorts will be more crowded becasue fothe golf tournament, but the parks will be less crowded because of the number of people from the resorts and locally that will be at the golf tournament. At least that is what I am hopeing for becasue we will be there for part of the golf tournament.

We were there two years ago during the golf tournament and didn't notice any difference in the crowds. Noticed a lot of cars for the tournament (Buick, I think), but not a lot of extra people in the parks. It was great!
