does express pass "sell out"?

Staying at Cabana Bay so we don't get express but I was thinking of purchasing one maybe two days during our stay. Do I need to decide/purchase ahead of time or can we wait and see if we need/want it once we arrive?

On very busy days, yes.

It can. However, I don't know if it has ever sold out for Islands or Studios, except maybe around the opening of the Wizarding World. I do know that EP has sold out at Volcano Bay for opening weekend. They did release more though. They pretty much know the capacity of the other parks, so they probably wouldn't release more if they did sell out. However, I think Islands or Studios selling out might be unlikely.

Folks on here never recommend buying EP ahead of time.........once you're there you can decide if you need it or not........weekends are always busier.

If Despicable Me is important for you to ride......do that first first during one of the days you have EE......the regular queue is always huge!

Last September during so called quiet days, regular queue was over 100 minutes at times.....we usually walked on with Hotel EP........once we waited around 15 mins as we had just missed the EP line enter the building. That was the longest we waited ever for any ride using EP.
