Does everyone in party need to have DME?

Does just one member of the family need to link their room reservation to DME in order to get Magic Bands? I already have it on my phone, do my husband and kids (older teens) need to have it as well?

Each member of your family does not need to have his/her own MDE account. You can use one account and list all family members in the Family & Friends list. Everyone on the reservation does need to be listed in your Family & Friends list. There will be one MagicBand per individual listed on the room reservation once you customize them and they are mailed out.

Family members that are 13 and older can have their own MDE account if desired (but not required). For anyone that already has their own MDE account, you would need to enter the email address they used when they setup their account so you can link to their MDE account.

If you are traveling with multiple families, I feel that each unique family unit should have their own MDE account. By use of the Family & Friends list, you can also connect with others that have their own MDE account.
