After reading numerous threads and posts, I am beginning to believe that we are the only people who don't put in room requests. In fact we like the element of surprise in not knowing quite what you'll end up with. I can see how you might have a favorite location at your home resort (or another that you visit often), but I find it amusing when people talk about requesting specific rooms at resorts that they've never been to. Please don't take it personally if you fall into that category, I'm just wondering if there are others like us out there who enjoy getting to experience different views etc., and who will never be disappointed that we didn't get what we really wanted.
I must end with saying that we did put in a request to be on an upper floor for our first trip home to BLT. We loved it when we ended up on the 16th floor. However we have never bothered to request this again for any subsequent trips, and have found things that we liked equally on other floors.

We have never made a room request. But I think at Pop we lucked out to be on the third floor in the back of the building where it was quiet. We do not have children. So far we have been in the same "bead"-different rooms at Kidani. I am just happy to be there. I keep waiting for the end of the hall room at Kindani. If it is on the Jambo side, we would be OK. If on the other side...hmmm
I don't get specific either, as I realize the more specific you get, the harder it is for the resorts to honor.
), our requests have always been just "upper/high floor" --- except for when we book AKV Jambo house, in this case we only make a Savannah view request if we book a Value room.
