Does Early Ticket Pick-up Complicate Free DDP?

Wondering about the early ticket pick-up procedure & if it could negatively impact a Free DDP res?

Does GS have to remove the ticket from the reservation in order to activate it early? If so, considering the Free DDP res required a ticket purchase, will the system automatically drop the dining component once it no longer sees the ticket?

It doesn't negatively affect the Free (or otherwise) DDP.

The system would not "no longer see the ticket."
