Does DVC sell their mailing list?

Trying to figure out how we got on the list for "The Waters at Horseshoe Bay Resort" 's exclusive offer. Somehow they think we have $200k-$600k to plunk down on "one- to three-bedroom villas . . .with lock-and-leave ownership."

Let's just say they didn't cull our name from the "high rollers" lists in Vegas, the "preferred customer" list at Saks Fifth Avenue, or the "big bucks in the bank" list from Wells Fargo.

Hate to break it to these folks that with an extra $200k laying around, I wouldn't be spending it on the shores of Lake LBJ!

Anybody else get offers like this after joining DVC? Or is this just a coincidence?

Not a coincidence, but DVC probably didn't do it. The names of buyers of property are public records in the County where deeds are recorded. all you have to do is look. I believe in Florida the records are even searchable online.

I was on the Horseshoe Bay mailing list long before I bought DVC. I think they just get a TX property tax list (the OP also lives in TX) Horseshoe Bay is near Marble Falls.
