Does DVC MEMBERS STILL SAVE 10 percent?

does dvc members still save 10 percent on points if booked within three days of them getting off a cruise? Haven't booked by points in a while. I know someone on here is going to say you losing money doing it that way. In not interested in renting my points. I rent to people I know in real life but not on Internet. Thanks.

Things have definitely changed over the last few years. It really depends on the cruise. I usually book all of my cruises through DVC (I agree with you, some people will land blast me for that...but it works for us). The best thing to do is call and ask DVC what the current policy is.

No judgement here on the not renting your points! They are yours to do with as you want.

I agree with previous poster, i'd recommend calling and asking. Its been a few years since we did it and I feel like my mom got into a heated discussion with them about it last time she did because the cruise we wanted to use it on they weren't supposed to do it for., but of course no mention of it had been made to the cast members on board pushing the points discount. So seemed a couple years out there may have been some blackout dates for it. I can only imagine it got stricter than easier.
