....offer advice when asked?
Or is it more of a ...."contact us, tell us exactly what you want and we will get you the best rate" kind of operation?

I've dealt with a travel agent in the past who was helpful IF YOU knew exactly what you wanted. She never suggested anything.

I'm wondering if DU is the same way or if their agents are more likely to say, "Hey...why not try......" ??
If I sent them an email that listed a couple of scenerios would they provide imput as to what would be the best deal?

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks...
Tabitha

I'm not sure what type of questions you are considering asking, but you might want to check out the Ask the Experts forum on the Dreams Unlimited Travel website. If you are asking for pricing, you should submit a reservation request and be specific in the Special Requests section of the form with any alternatives you are seeking.

We booked our next trip with DU and our agent, Sue Ellen is amazing. Lots of suggestions, little tips and very very friendly. She was helping us long before we actually booked because we were a little nervous about using a TA. We had always booked our own packages/rooms. I would contact them with your information and see how they are.

We have used DU for 5 trips and have been thrilled with the service. Our DU agent Cathy-would offer restaurant suggestions, theme park suggestions and etc.

I'm sure you could email any ?'s you have to your agent and they would offer suggestions.

We're using DU for our upcoming December trip. We used them to book one night of our trip last December, and it was the only part of our trip that was correct. Our previous TA (local to where I live) forgot to include my father-in-law on our hotel reservations  --but did remember to include him in the cruise documents so he didn't have to hang around Port Canaveral until we got back!

Our DU agent, Merrie, has been wonderful. We've changed our reservations (hotel, dates, number of people) a bunch of times, and she's made all the changes and offered some good advice. I would recommend them to anyone. Plus, they keep an eye on the discount codes and automatically take care of that for you too!
