Does Disneyland make you cry happy tears?

Well, lets see where to start. I think when you have a kid it becomes more of an emotional experience as your living it all over thru their little eyes. My son is now 7 and he will be making his 7th trip to disneyland Oct. 8 - 14 with my parents, but he doesn't know mommy and daddy are flying down to surprise him for 3 days of his trip. Disneyland is somewhere I went as a child 1 time a year. Now that I'm married and have a son of my own it's somewhere I wish to continue going once a year. I cry everytime we enter under the tunnel and on to main street. I cry during the parades, I cry during the fireworks, I cry when I see my son's happy little face when he rides the rides, I cry when I see his face when he see's his favorite characters, and of course I cry when we leave. It is truly a magical place.

AWWWWWWWW yeah when you have little ones of your own it does create a different perspective on things. I dont have kids of my own, but I do have a 3 year old nephew, and when I see his face, or when I can surprise him with something it is a HUGE JOY, and can get emotional. I cant wait to take him to Disneyland one day soon. I do see where your coming from.

I guess I'm just tougher than most. I only cry:

-at every single Disney TV commercial.
-every time I look at our photos from past trips.
-at every single Disney show, especially fireworks.
-when I recieve the montly Disney mailer with the little video clips..the new
Year of a Million Dreams is a killer.
-When I think of my baby neice meeting her favorite characters at WDW next
year.
-when they close down or change in any way a favorite ride.
-when other people write posts about what makes them cry.

Hmmmm.....maybe not so tough. Let the Good Tears roll!!! :cool1:

Newbie here. :wave2:

Yes, all the time. I cry during the parades, I cry during Fantasmic!, I cry during the fireworks... Especially the 50th fireworks. It was my whole childhood in that one show. I love my parents for bringing me there every other year. It makes me feel so sad for turning 16. I have frequent Disneyland withdrawals...
