I know my card expires in December of this year. But if I don't transfer over my balance each month do they expire?
Thanks!
Thanks!
If the Rewards Dollars are on a rewards card that expires at the end of December of this year, you will need to spend those Rewards Dollars before the card expires. If you do not, the Rewards Dollars will disappear when the card expires. Rewards Dollars that have been transferred to a rewards card cannot be placed back into your Disney VISA account or moved to another rewards card.alacazander said:I know my card expires in December of this year. Your account must be active and in good standing in order to claim your Rewards Dollars. When you closed the account, you forfeited those rewards. Sorry.ftmill said:$50 in Disney Dollars for a card that I closed the first year it was established. You think I could use the dollars?
I'm not sure if I understand your question. If you're talking about a balance transfer from one credit card to your Disney VISA, you will not get rewards dollars for the transfer. If you're talking about getting rewards dollars for purchases made with your Disney VISA and then you pay off the Disney VISA by transferring the balance to another card, then you retain your rewards dollars.Meezers said:If you get your reward dollars in the shape of the reward card...and then transfer the balance...do you still get the reward points?
It's great that you'll be paying for your rooms in full before you go so that you can use those rewards dollars during your trip. But if your trip isn't for another 3+ months, you should probably have waited. There really is no rush to get those points or order that rewards card. Even if you were to order the card today, you would still be able to transfer additional rewards dollars to it at any time during the lifetime of the card as long as you tranferred $10 or more in rewards dollars.I called today and if we get our reward card in the near future it won't expire until Dec 31, 2006.
I was lucky....my TA has arranged to pay for our rooms in full so now I will be able to pull out all the reward $'s before we go!

.... my trip (which i haven't booked just yet) that last week of January, when would you request your rewards card? I haven't gotten my first statement yet... I'm just hoping to get a few "extra" dollars to spend on gifts, not so much towards my room.
I've ordered two rewards cards in the past and neither has taken as long as 3 weeks to arrive. An order placed on 3/3/2005 was received on 3/12/2005. They do offer Rush shipping for an additional $10 if you feel that your card may not arrive in time for your trip.jlbower79 said:ok but if i want till Jan 1 to order my card will it get ot be within 3 weeks?
Points that you transfer to the card, either online or by phone, are immediately credited to the card. You can use them right away. And if i wait till I get there to get the card I thought it took awhile for the points to transfer onto the card? I dont plan on going again (well I even be given a chance) until 2007 anyways... so I guess I could just order it maybe around xmas just to make sure I have it in time...?
The minimum amount that you need to have in order to transfer your points is 10. If you have 14 rewards dollars in your account, then you can transfer all 14. If you only have 8 rewards dollars, you cannot transfer them to your card.another question, you have to have 10 points to transfer inorder to be able to transfer? or you can only transfer 10 points at a time?
BankBunny is correct. You get no rewards dollars for balance transfer or cash advances, which is what the convenience check is. Plus, Chase will begin charging you interest as soon as that check is cashed instead of allowing you the grace period that credit transactions enjoy.another question, i believe i received "checks" to use with my visa, and my rent won't accept anything but checks, if i write a check with one of their's will i get points from that, does anyone know? thanks!
