Yes they take Mastercard. In the US, the two are pretty much interchangeable - it is so rare to find a merchant that takes one and not the other that I cannot even recall the experience.

Interestingly, at the London 2012 Olympic Games, only one of the two was accepted as payment for tickets. I can't remember which, whichever one sponsors the Olympics, but it can happen that only one card is viable... Fortunately, that's not a problem at WDW!

I had a MasterCard attached to my MagicBand last August. As a previous poster mentioned.....they had no trouble taking my money!

Yes, exactly . There are Some places that can only take one or the other due to sponsor contracTS etc... Just wanted to make sure this isn't one!

You must not shop at Sam's Club (they take MasterCard, but not Visa). Other than that, I can't think of a single merchant who takes one but not the other.
