Does Disney offer such great deals often for cardholders?

I signed up for a credit card in order to get the kids eat, stay and play for free deal. Have a trip planned and just about paid for Labor day weekend to celebrate my girls birthdays. The ex-husband was laid off (he's a teacher) so he talked to me about applying for a position at his old school back in MA. We have always said we will do what we could to make sure both of us are with the girls full-time and I have been wanting to move back home anyway so when he got the job, I was very happy. So, we are moving back which means I have to cancel our trip. So I am wondering if there are any cancellation penalties and how often are deals like that offered? Happy to be moving home but so disappoint to have to pass on WDW when its been 2 years since the last trip!:sad1:

I've been a Disney Visa card holder for the past 2 years and we've had the same deals pretty much come every year. If there isnt' one that the Visa Card has I'm sure there will be one that Disney will have too. As far as the cancellation penalty, It varies depending on how far out from your trip you are. I think it's on Disney's FAQ page.

Sorry you have to cancel your trip. You shouldn't have any cancellation fees because you're more than 45 days out.

There are usually good deals out there - Visa or general code for the off seasons - in theory they're going to cut back on deals but naturally I'm hoping that's all talk.

Good luck with the move!
