Does designation of "adult", "child", "toddler" matter in MDE reservat

I had to call the dining phone number today to try and add someone to my Akershus reservation - as far as I can tell online, there's no way to "modify" a reservation other than cancelling it and making a new one, and there were no reservations available when I searched for one online.

The CM on the line was able to add the person as I requested and noted my reservation number would remain the same and it should be reflected in my MDE soon. It was - however, as the reservation was previously 3 adults, 1 child, 1 toddler and asked for it to be made into 4 adults, 1 child, 1 toddler (which the CM repeated back to me), instead it is now showing up as 3 adults, 1 child, 2 toddlers - even though the person I added to the 2nd toddler spot is in the MDE system as "18+".

I only ask if this is an issue because obviously Akershus bills on the basis of age a fixed price, and I don't want them to think I'm trying to skirt the system.

Wont make any difference. It's not prepaid so you will just pay the correct amount when you are there.

As long as the total number of people who will be at the restaurant is correct, their age designation won't matter. Since you pay at the end of the meal, your server will be able to tell that there are 4 adults, 1 child and 1 toddler.
