Does DCL ever offer specials or discounts

We are looking to go on a cruise in 2011. It will be the kids first cruise ever and mine and my DW first cruise in 10 years. We would really love to do a Disney Cruise. Does DCL ever offer any discounts or specials.

In the past not so much but last year and this year (we can assume due to the economy) they have been offering a few specials like pin codes and kids sail free promos. They are not offered all the time and no new ones have come out yet for 2011 or for the latter part of 2010 (that I know of). There are of course the military discounts and Florida/Canadian resident discounts on some cruises.

They have also offered bounce back cruise deals last year....purchase a cruise in a certain time frame and then get a 3 day cruise for something like $99 a pp to be taken at a later date (with a certain time frame). Lately they have been offering Cat 12's (the lowest priced cabin on DCL) for some good deals but they come and go. This year with the Magic being in Europe all summer the Wonder is the only ship in town so their prices are high for this summer.

Best bet is to deal with a Disney Specialist TA who can keep track of deals and specials for you when they come up.

DCL has some great prices for their new ship the Dream that will set sail in 2011.I booked about a month ago and the prices were soooooo cheap I thought that the website had something wrong with it so I called & needless to say the price was right so I booked for my son & I,the prices have gone up since then and my only regret is that I didnt book 2 cruises but O well one is better than nothing so I will keep my eyes open 2 see if I can find another deal, My advice to you is just keep checking the DCL website,I check it 2 -3 times a day everyday

Disney does come out with specials at different times during the year. You just need to keep checking this forum as someone from here will always post it right when they receive an offer. You can also check the DCL website under specials which will show if they are offering discounts like kids sail free or something like that.
