Does DCA still open early for WOC fast passes?

We aren't staying on site and I was wondering if it opens a half an hour early to get the fast passes. I read that on the superthread but that was dated last year. Just don't want to leave MK too early! TIA!

Yes, it does. I asked a similar question in regards to DCA last week and was told that they still open at 9:30.

As for the on-site Disney Hotel guests, in the past they would open the GCH entrance to DCA even earlier (9am?). But recent reports say that (at least some days) they keep that entrance closed until 9:30. Instead of letting those guests into the park for the WOC fast passes, they issue them manually inside the hotel entrance.

In very recent reports it sounds like DCA opens at 9am for resort guests. 9:30 for general guests. This was they can go strait in to ride LMAUA, which opened last Friday.

It seems this is inconsistent. Here's what another poster said on another thread:

The World of Color fastpass distribution for resort guest has changed. Previously, resort guests would enter California Adventure at 9AM and get fastpasses from the machines at Grizzly Rapids (and often immediately return to the hotel).
We lined up at the Grand Californian entrance to California Adventure at 8:30 (after already doing Disneyland Magic Morning). We were second in line, so showing up at 9AM would have been fine. At 9AM, cast members walked down the line and handed out World of Color fastpasses -- they did not check for park tickets or room keys. This is a much more efficient process, taking only a few minutes.
The entrance opened at 9:30, and we were able to ride Little Mermaid 4 times :yay:
The park main gates also open at 9:30, but a room key is required to ride the Little Mermaid before 10AM. On our 3rd and 4th rides of Little Mermaid there were hundreds of non-resort guests waiting, but we were able to literally "walk on" the ride.

When was that posted?

Nonsuch was there the exact same days as I was and posted that on tues (?) on the dvc misc forum.

I talked this over with my husband, and we realized that neither of us really looked to see if they were letting regular guests on the ride at 9:30. We just saw everyone amassed and skedaddled. Sounds like nonsuch actually rode during that time and is likely the one with the correct info.

I'll correct the info on the other post.

When was that posted?

It was posted on June 8. Looks like it was describing his experience at DCA on Sunday, June 5. You can click the little arrow nex to his screen name to see the orinigal post.
