Does being 20 weeks pregnant have any advantages for avoiding standing in queues?

I'm planning to visit Disneyworld this Easter 2004 and will be 20 weeks pregnant. I know I wont be able to go on many rides but would like to know if waiting for my husband and 2 children in the queues whether we will get any preferential treatment and could fasttrack any long queues? Maybe clutching at straws but thought if you dont ask you dont find out!

I hate to tell you, but no. How old are your 2 children? I just ask because my wife and I went last September and she was 8 months pregnant. Our two year old son could not ride everything, so I would get in the singles line. I rarely had to wait to get on a ride.

So, the family will not be able to get any advantage, but your husband may be able to take advantage of the singles lines on the bigger rides. I have a feeling that this September my wife will be making me wait with the kids while she takes advantage of the singles line.

On a SWA flight from Ft Lauderdale to Baltimore, there was a couple that make noise about getting to preboard because she was pregnant. She may have been uncomfortable, but definately not showing. Meanwhile, a *very* pregnant woman was waiting in line like everyone else. As the couple made a scene about preboarding, everyone turned to the other woman, who just shrugged her shoulders and returned to reading her book.

Now, I like getting things free, but I play within the rules to do so, so I'm not criticizing your question, but the way these two women approached their situation (that of pregnancy) showed something about their personalities.

I was 20 weeks pregnant in October and just starting to show and had to wait in every line with my family. Once on a bus someone offered me their seat since it was packed and I had to stand. I ended up taking their seat and held someone's little boy on my lap since though his mom had a seat she was holding his sleeping sister.
