does anyone??

I know its a public board, hence why my myspace is private. I would have to know the person and allow them to see me. No problem posting my username. :thumbsup2

to those of you who haven't been on myspace, get on it. you can post in my group but still have your own individual page private!! I would love for you all to be my myspace friends though so please add. Without adding me yuo can't see my page. Again it is ok to post links for it in here because it is private stuff, so no one will have their private stuff looked at if not wanted

again, here is the name of the group: disspace

this group is also a public group.. but your pages may be kept private. so no need to delete this link!!

hope to see you all in their!!
also, please pm me your private page link if you want me to add you as a friend!!

How do I set my myspace profile to being private?

Go into the settings and then privacy... :) You can select that only your friends can see your page. Try looking me up w/ my user name (same as my username here). You can see my default but not much else :thumbsup2 It works great. I had to make mine private while working as a substitute teacher. The school board won't allow you to have public pages while you're employed. I've left it private now due to personal preference.

I signed up, but it says i have to wait 7 days to post! :lmao:

Just a reminder that direct links to myspace are not permitted. We are leaving this thread as is for now, but it will be deleted if the links continue to be posted.

Here's the simplest answer:

The DIS is family friendly.

Myspace has no real content control to keep people's personal pages family friendly.

So, it was decided that no links to MySpace will be allowed. The webmasters have decided to allow you to say you are so and so on MySpace, much like the ebay decision that you can't link directly to your auction, but you can say in your profile what your screenname over there is.

If you have any further questions about the policy, you can email the webmasters at admin@wdwinfo.com

As far as I am aware, the policy extends to Facebook.

I know its confusing, and you are more than welcome to ask the webmasters for further clarification.
