I do. My husband loves it. It changes the way the syrup looks, it will no longer be clear, it will be cloudy.
However, you can reheat the syrup after thickening and it won't break down. Gets rid of that "watery" nature of the sugar free syrups, too.
Making waffles for supper, I think. So, I'm going to thicken some syrup, heat it, add a few chopped pecans and enjoy
