Does anyone use paper planners anymore?

I just visited the Snapfish website last week to make my new "back to school" notebook style calendar. So upset that they no longer make them. I was hoping another company offered this - but sounds like they don't! I loved having my son's picture from a favorite vacation on the front each year.

Exactly! I've used the "same" photo for years -- one of my boys sitting on a rock in a field of daffodils. I love looking back through the old ones (I always seem to be looking for previous dates!) and seeing how much they've grown. I did email Snapfish about it and was told they were discontinued. I need one quickly for the upcoming school year, so I did order the Erin Condren one because I could have my daffodil photo put on it, but the price took some getting used to.

I just went to check out the Erin Condren site. Love it - but the price is indeed much more than my Snapfish!!!

I use a combination of both. Though with newer cell phone I don't feel the need to get a full on franklin covey type system anymore just a paper back up of whats going on.

Someone posted a $10 off coupon code earlier in this thread that I used, which helped. I used to get two Snapfish ones -- one for me/kids/home and one for work. The Erin Condren one looks like it's got enough room so I can get away with one, which would be helpful. Plus it comes with stickers -- I like stickers! :) (Can you tell I'm still trying to justify the cost?:))

When you get it, let us know how you like it.

I've used Amy Knapp's Family Organizer for years. I was disappointed last year to see them change the binding. I made my own Disney cover that I was able to put onto my new planner each year, but with the new binding I was unable to use my Disney cover this year. This is my last year using Amy Knapp's Family Organizer because of the change in their binding.

For 2012 I'm recycling a 2011 Vera Bradley Agenda Planner. I was given a 2011 one as a gift. I cut up some file folder label stickers to put over all the dates, and then rewrote all the dates for 2012. I printed out monthly labels to stick in the planner, and I added some nice stickers I already had. It took me about 3 days to do it while watching tv in the evening, but it looks pretty good, plus I didn't have to spend any money except for the file folder labels I bought at Dollar Tree.

And the Vera 2011 Agenda Planner is a 3 ring binder type with no year printed on the cover, so I'm going to try creating my own pages on my computer to use in it. Perhaps I can create something to use year after year.

I use a two-page per day Day Timer and could not manage without it. I have tried electronic systems and they just don't work for me at all. I live in fear that they will stop making these some day because I don't know what I'll do if that happens.

I just use a paper calendar on the fridge. I have tried day runners, but I kept still centralizing everything on my paper calendar at home.

I use my iPhone, not so much as a planning device but more a reminder device with alarms.

So I can't help on dayrunner suggestions--but I do empathize with the need to keep things on paper. :)

I do and it works for me! Even though I work my job has few obligations to note and my family is grown taking care of their own stuff. We keep family dates on a wall calendar in the kitchen.

I have a Staples spiral bound date book that I keep in my purse - DH is a total techy geek and he makes fun of me, but I find my date book to be way more convenient than a digital organizer.
